On Friday (November 5), it left the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), where work on the ship had begun in September 2020. Once fully completed the vessel – to be operated by Royal Caribbean International – will be 362 metres long (the equivalent of three to four football pitches), will weigh 236,857 tonnes and be able to accommodate 5,734 people and 1,200 crew members.
